FAQ

1. How long does it take to get my container pool?

For the realization of a container pool, it takes about 2 months. However, these dates are of course subject to our order book. Delays may be longer. We advise you to contact our company to get a more detailed idea of the delivery dates.

2- Should I plan any work before the arrival of my container pool?

There are several possibilities to install your pool. A gravel bed may be sufficient, but concrete pads are recommended (inexpensive and very reliable). You can also place your pool on concrete slabs (respect the necessary slab thicknesses).

3- What about children's safety?

Children's safety is important. That's why, for above-ground pools, we recommend the retractable ladder designed to be easily stored with a hatch and a latch to hide it. For buried pools, you can ask us for an alarm. The porthole is a good way to monitor people who are in the pool.

4- Is the maintenance of a container pool expensive?

The container pool does not cost more than a standard pool. A 5 kg bucket of chlorine costs between €20 and €50 (depending on the brands and style chosen). Then comes the electricity, which is not energy-intensive (check your energy bill).

5- Is my pool taxable?

6m above-ground pools are not taxable since we can (upon request) make your pool with less than 10-meter square of water. You should still check with your town hall to make sure your home is not in a protected area.

6- Do you deliver in France and abroad?

Yes, we deliver our pools throughout France and even abroad.

7- Should the pool be buried or kept above ground?

It's up to the customer's preference. Our container pools are designed to be buried or above ground.

8- How does the delivery work?

We can manage the delivery. First, it will be important to define the kind of delivery. For this, we advise you to contact our sales representative. Generally, a crane truck is necessary to drop off your pool. In some cases where delivery with a crane truck is impossible, either the customer or French Container Pool can call on a crane operator for delivery. We can take care of the delivery and let the customer manage the crane (for a cost issue) and direct you to companies near you to help you.

9- Do I need a building permit?

The first advice we will give you is to check with your town hall. In most cases, for an above-ground pool, a declaration to the town hall is enough. If you want to bury it, you will have to go through a building permit.

10- Can I install my pool on a sloping ground?

You can by excavating and burying part of the pool, or it is also possible to put part of the container in the void placed on stilts… many configurations are possible.

11- I want a complementary product (pool house/terrace)?

We don't just make container pools, we are willing to make arrangements around it, terrace, pool house, sauna, spa…
